Our Client is a long established and reputable Australian Company who provide building management services to a variety of blue chip corporate customers. As a leader in their field and with over 2,500 staff Australia-wide this is an exceptional opportunity to join the team in a position where you will be responsible for supporting Company needs relating to training and development, employee appraisals, equal employment opportunity, employee relations, workplace planning and recruitment.

Working as an integral part of the People & Culture Team, specific responsibilities will include:

- Acting as first point of contact for the People & Culture team, providing support and assistance to all personnel for employee related issues
- Coordinating the delivery of training to staff
- Developing and coordinating systems for incentives and appraisals
- Managing and controlling all employee related communication and information
- Implementing and coordinating the Company's workplace relations, including employee disputes and legal action
- Coordinating employee relations, Union, and all other matters relating to the welfare of employees
- Overseeing recruitment of new employees in conjunction with the GM - People & Culture
- Ensuring the adequate functioning and continuous development of the Company's workplace relations and relevant systems
- Ensuring documentation for the IR system is permanently up to date and distributed
- Ensuring employee issues are properly addressed and preventative action is taken to avoid recurrence
- Developing and improving training programs for all staff
- Maintaining necessary records relating to staff training

To be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar HR position within the corporate sector and tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. You will have top verbal and written communication skills along with an organised and proactive approach to your work and be enthusiastic to take on your next career move

This is a full time, office based position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm with requirements to conduct visits to sites during the working week with occasional weekday evening visits (on average, 1-2 hours per fortnight). Interstate travel is also required, bi-monthly as an estimate.
