You will join us as a Network Monitoring Officer in our friendly, collaborative and well-established Network Monitoring Team based at our Jandakot office.

This permanent, full-time role is perfect for someone looking for steady work days and hours with flexible work arrangements.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of electrical monitoring equipment used on the gas distribution network, as well as gain exposure to some of our exciting electrical activities relating to Solar, Battery storage and hydrogen production, which form ATCO’s Clean Energy Innovation Hub.

Your contribution and responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain electrical/communication equipment used on our network
- Assist customer’s/clients questions and enquiries through professional communication
- Complete planned maintenance as well as respond to unplanned outages.
- Assist with projects within the team including input into the design and the inspection of equipment used on our network.
- Monitor work performed by contractors and suppliers to ensure it is compliant with company and Australian Standards.
- Manage tasks to ensure safe work instructions are followed, risks are managed and addressed. Must have an understanding of HSE goals and objectives.
- Provide input into investigations related to the gas network performance
- Perform all work in a safe manner consistent with our company values

What you will bring
- Be a qualified A Grade Electrician
- Have some previous experience or exposure to instrumentation/communications or have obtained the relevant qualification
- Possess good computer skills
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with an eye for detail.
- Possess good communication skills with positive internal and external customer service.
