**About the role**

Applications are invited for Ward Clerks to join the Emergency Department as a communications clerk. This was previously a fixed term position now funded permanently. This position is primarily focused on answering the phone in the Emergency Department and directing calls to the relevant patients/staff. There is also an element of clerical work with filing and photocopying.

BHS will provide a paid orientation day on commencement, salary packaging, in-service education and professional development, access to car parking along with all other permanent staff benefits.

Applicants must hold a current National Police Certificate issued within the past 12 months and be a team player, who is empathetic and believes in a holistic approach. You must have excellent clerical, communication and time management skills.

**How to apply**
