Seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to assist clients in realising their goals and aspirations through physical activity. As an essential member of our team, you will utilise your knowledge and expertise to create customised exercise plans that cater to each client's unique needs and abilities. You will work closely with individuals to help them improve their health, enhance their athletic performance, and achieve their desired outcomes. **The Position**
This position will be working across all the SIL Homes
The role includes and not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive strength and fitness assessments
- Provide one-on-one exercise therapy sessions
- Developing treatment plans and recommending exercises to help improve strength, fitness and overall function
- Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
- Collaborate and establish working relationships with other professionals to ensure that participants receive the highest quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with our NDIS participants.
- Maintain a professional and ethical practice in accordance with the standards of the profession and psychology board of Australia.
**About You**
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Physiotherapy
- Full registration as an accredited exercise physiologist with ESSA
- 2+ years experience as an exercise physiologist
- Experience in working with NDIS and/or aged care clients preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- NSW Driver’s License
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
