**About the Client**:
Our clients’ organisation was founded in 1996 with a husband and wife looking to bring about a dream to enhance the life of the aged and to provide quality care. **About the Role**:
The role is responsible for revenue and achieving key performance targets for the facility under their control.

The Facility Manager ensures that the team responds to the whole person by partnering with their residents, families and carers on a daily basis to meet the individual needs and goals of the residents. The role is critical in overseeing the daily operations, strategic direction and staff performance of the facility.

The position of Facility Manager is part of an integrated team of people working with an established and agreed framework supporting the residents to live their best life.

**About You**:
**You will have**
- A current AHPRA registration with no restrictions or conditions
- A current Australian Driver’s license
- The ability to build rapport and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders
- The ability to display initiative and be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- A high level of understanding of the aged care sector with the ability to identify changing trends and to ensure best practice
- The ability to be an effective listener and to be able to communicate at all levels both written and verbal
- Clear thinking and great problem solving skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage the delegation process to ensure appropriate quality outcomes
- Sound operational knowledge of computerised systems used within the industry
- An understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills
- Current Australian working rights

Tertiary qualifications in gerontology or a related nursing discipline.

Middle to senior management experience in a health care setting.
