**Description**:
ABOUT THE ROLE

Working within the bids team and collaboratively with our wider business to gather stories and details from the frontline, this role prepares written content for tender submissions and is integral to business development and growth.

Firstly, you will be driven to write, not merely manipulate or update existing content. You will:

- love a blank page and an opportunity to research business functions to showcase a compelling story
- draw out GJK’s unique features and describe how they will benefit clients, and
- contribute to a written word Style Guide that will standardise how the team writes

This is a small professional bid team that is building a best-practice platform. We have a laser-focus on winning business in tender and proposal and a plan to achieve it. We want to hear from you if you have a passion to write a polished story; we will do the rest and support your development.

As the content knowledge base grows, you will tailor components to respond to tenders and:

- collaborate on win themes and tailor content to meet the desired objectives
- read and analyse client documents including briefs, conditions, contracts, scopes of works, specifications, and service agreements
- maintain a high standard of bid submissions
- plan and prioritise bid submissions, and
- ensure submissions are completed on time and according to client specifications

**Skills and Experiences**:
**ABOUT YOU**:
exposure to the facilities management sector (helpful)
degree in writing, communications or similar (highly desirable)
ability to articulate what compelling writing looks like
a bent for turning creative ideas into tangible outcomes
experience in content creation or business storytelling
confident communication style and an ability to influence stakeholders
ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
superior attention to detail
proficient in MS Office programs
Experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud specifically InDesign and Photoshop

We are looking for someone who is a passionate, approachable, problem-solving team player and has a good sense of humour. This role requires someone who is an excellent written communicator with a good understanding of how services are delivered and is committed to getting the job done.
