**Job Type: Full-Time Barista**

**Hours: 38 hrs / 5 days per week (expectation of only 1 weekend day per week)**

**Pay: $63,000-$65000**

Busy cafe in Surry Hills is seeking a gun barista to join our team This role would suit a barista that thrives in a busy setting (10-16kg a day with team of 2-4 baristas). Specialty coffee experience is beneficial, but also more than happy to train a competent barista who wants to learn more about specialty coffee. We want a good people with passions for coffee, food,, and people behind our bar

This is a great opportunity to work with a large variety of coffee roasters, with singles changing every week growing your coffee knowledge and exposure. For the right person we can provide a pathway to various hospitality management positions within our growing hospitality company which currently includes: Reuben Hills Cafe & Roastery, A.P. Bakery, Paramount House Hotel, Paramount Coffee Project.

Duties include:

- Making coffee to a high standard
- Following a recipe, and dialling in
- Adjusting grinders
- Latte art (rosetta is our standard pour)
- Being a team player, with strong communication
- Ordering milk and other daily stock
- Communicating with other baristas via daily reports
- Legendary customer service
- Pouring a wine/beer occasionally (RSA required or we can arrange for you to get it)
- Taking orders at the till
- Running out coffees when needed
- General clean up duties (taking out rubbish, dishes, some table waiting as required)

We are a multi roaster cafe with a focus on showcasing great coffee above all else. We run a selection of different roasters and rotate our offerings every few days
