**About the role**:
In your role as Analyst, you will play an important role in the Financial Institutions coverage team which sits within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB).

Your primary responsibility is to support the Managing Director and Director in ensuring the portfolio is managed consistent with MUFG's operational and strategic framework.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Co-ordinate the account planning framework for the segment
- Assist in preparing client pitches
- Maintain Salesforce in order to capture all client engagement and pipeline activity
- Assist in preparation of deal screening material
- Facilitate KYC processes
- Co-ordinate responses for internal information requests
- Assist with special projects and internal initiatives
- Conduct client and industry research

**What we are looking for**:

- Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential
- Masters of Finance, MBA or CFA will be considered favourably
- Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products
- Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
- The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
- Has strong interpersonal and presentations skills
- Is a team player
- Is a self-starter who applies initiative and has drive and enthusiasm
- Has an analytical mindset and problem solving skills
- Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders
