**About the Role**
As an Animal Attendant at NCEV, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Nursing and Veterinary teams, gaining hands-on experience in emergency and critical care. This role involves maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the hospital to ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort for our patients. You’ll help with various cleaning and organising tasks, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with patient care needs, making this position a great foundation for anyone passionate about animal welfare and looking to grow in the veterinary field.

The main tasks include:

- Supporting the vet and nursing team
- Helping to maintain clinic hygiene standards
- Animal handling and restraining (mainly cats and dogs)
- Infection control and washing
- Restocking
- Feeding and watering animals

**About You**
- A love for providing the best care to animals of all shapes and sizes
- Certificate II/III in Animal Studies (or studying towards)
- Strong work ethic (happy to chip in and support the team)
- Resilient (comfortable with the sights, sounds and smells of a hospital environment)
- Flexibility for a variety of shifts. This is a Casual role working 8 - 16 hours per week.
