We are seeking a Farmhand to commence asap in a role located in Wivenhoe. Working a 4 day week (38 hours), there is the potential for the role to be ongoing for the right person.

**You need to have the following**:

- A willingness to work in a team
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence (Manual C Class, Open with no restrictions)
- Farmhand experience
- Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable but not mandatory)

**Duties for this role will include**:

- Slashing program, harvesting of Olive leaf and leaf chipping
- Maintaining the office grounds, spreading mulch and fertiliser
- Tractor Operations
- Planting new trees, olive tree shaping and mulching
- Basic construction, manual labour, machinery operation and maintenance
- Carrying out fortnightly assessment of Pest and Disease and updating control plan
- Ensuring spraying units are calibrated regularly
- Maintaining KPI’s on the board and undertaking associated reasonable tasks as required
- Correctly using, maintaining and storing personal protective equipment; and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures.
