Bus Driver

The Bus Driver is responsible for taking Community residents on outings in accordance with the requirements of the Community. **This position is a casual role.**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Drive the bus in line with policies, procedures and the law
- Provide residents with an enjoyable experience
- Assist residents with getting on and off the bus
- Ensure that the bus is always clean, well maintained and serviced
- Comply with Ingenia’s WHS Policy and Procedures and any reasonable instructions from any supervisor/authorised representative of the company concerning health and safety matters

**About You**
- Current “MR” class drivers license
- National Police Check
- Experience / Requirements
- Demonstrated capability and experience in driving buses
- Good verbal communication skills
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, positive and enthusiastic
- An ability to respond well to emergency situations.
- Minimum LR License Required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Use of the bus
- Occasional use of cleaning equipment
- Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching when carry out cleaning tasks
- Sitting for periods of time while driving
- Occasional use of cleaning products
- Occasional use of PPE such as rubber gloves when cleaning
