Alex Fraser is Australia’s largest manufacturer in recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources while dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Work as part of a small team on a concrete recycling plant at Archerfield
- Hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 12 midday Saturdays
- Primarily sorting materials from a moving conveyor belt in a climate controlled hut
- Routine plant maintenance such as greasing rollers, changing screens and general housekeeping using shovels and brooms
- Operation of a variety of machinery (Excavators, bobcats, water truck etc)
- Actively participate in daily toolboxes

**This role is a great fit if you are**:

- Physically fit
- Good mechanical skills and quick hands are essential
- Prepared to wear appropriate safety equipment during the shift: hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and long-sleeved high visibility clothing
- The position requires the ability to set high standards for safety, productivity, and efficiency
- Ideally experienced in mobile plant operation (an advantage, but not required as training will be provided)
- Own reliable transport
- Looking for a long-term role
