Research Associate

Based in Future Industries Institute at the Mawson Lakes campus
- Full-time, 2-year fixed term contract
- Starting Salary: $100,322 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About You**

You are experienced in synthesizing hydrogel polymers and wound healing or tissue engineering research. You work well with others both within and outside of your team. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to take initiative and deliver results.

**About the Role**

Reporting to a Professorial Lead, you will contribute to the research efforts of the Future Industries Institute, in particular will undertake research on the project titled “**Controlled release of secretome from tailored hydrogels for wound healing therapy**” which aims to develop synthetic hydrogels for the time-controlled delivery of stem cell secretome to improve wound healing.

**To Be Successful You Will Need**
- A postgraduate qualification in an appropriate Science or Engineering area relevant to the research area
- Evidence of high-quality research output commensurate with the length of research career
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to plan and execute testing and research with stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team
