About the business
Our client is an international organisation, with hubs and offices based in all major cities globally. In Australia, they have presence in every state and service the resources industry, where they provide market-leading mining services.
The business is looking for belt splicers to join their shut down circuit, mobilising from Adelaide SA, who will initially be responsible for two major belt and component replacements.
Your duties
Handling conveyor belt systems and associated components such as roller frames, skirting systems and belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, and chutes
Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment
Handling fabric belts
Uphold excellent communication skills, commitment to safety, self-motivation, and a committed work ethic.
About you
Our client is looking for experienced belt splicers, with the relevant qualifications, who have had significant exposure to fabric belts. You will adopt a think safe, work safe mindset, ensuring the safety of yourself and everyone around you. Additionally, you will be accustomed to working remotely, and have exposure to varying climates.
