**Position Information**:
Belrose Public School (K-6) is situated on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has an enrolment of 200 students. The school has a collaborative and dedicated staff with an active and supportive parent community. Staff are committed to quality teaching through learning support, differentiation, creative arts, sporting programs and STEM. Priorities are to support a whole school focus on literacy and numeracy and the integration of technology. The school has a focus on quality professional learning initiatives. Belrose Public School is a PBL (Positive Behaviour and Learning) school and has a successfully implemented evidenced-based wellbeing program.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (primary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

2. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to teachers and their students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs through a range of strategies including the areas of social integration, language and communication, literacy, numeracy and behaviour.

3. Strong ability to effectively communicate with staff and work in partnership with parents.
