Position Title: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach

**Salary**: $70,000 plus 11 % Superannuation

Overview:
Chess Club Jiu-Jitsu PTY LTD are looking for an experienced and qualified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Warana, QLD 4575.

Key Responsibilities:
Working as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

- Design and Coordinate Training Sessions: Plan and oversee comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training sessions tailored to different skill levels.
- Teach Fundamentals: Instruct both children and adults in the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, ensuring all students receive quality education and support.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Student Development: Encourage and promote the development of students' abilities, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Competition Coordination: Organise and manage student participation in competitions, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported.
- Belt Advancement: Coordinate and conduct exams for students to progress to the next belt level.
- Program Inquiries: Address inquiries from students and guardians regarding program structure, class schedules, and other relevant information.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall goals and strategies of the organisation.
- Assistant Coach Development: Mentor and support the growth of Assistant Coaches, providing guidance and feedback.
- Community Engagement: Conduct school visits and participate in community activities/events to represent and promote the organisation.
- Communication: Disseminate information about sporting events and organisational updates to the broader community.

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications and work experience:

- A Certificate III or IV, or higher qualification with major in Sports Coaching with at least 2 years of full-time experience working as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach. This formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of work experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach. Must hold a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with students, guardians, and community members, willbe highly regarded.
- Extensive experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with a strong background in coaching and instructing.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and the improvement of coaching methods.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
