**Overview**

**Your day to day routine will look something like this**:

- General butchering
- Trimming primal
- Portion cutting
- Weigh, label, and price a variety of cuts of meat
- Pick and pack fresh meat
- Assist and support meat packers
- Maintain and clean the meat preparation counter to reduce the risk of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

**All about you**:

- 1-2 years’ experience as a butcher.
- Understand all aspects of food safety.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Experience in whole animal butchery preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
