Maintenance Supervisor

**The Role**:
A position has come available for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with proven experience within the facilities field. This position will be based at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and requires flexibility to work either Sunday or Saturday.

The overall functions of this role are:

- General handy-person and trade duties
- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work
- Maintain the presentation of the center to a high standard
- Provide excellent customer service skills in order to deal with tenants and clients
- Flexibility to work across different shifts

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**To succeed in this role you will need**:

- Trade or handyman background and be (basic) IT competent
- Previous experience within retail environment
- Ability to manage a team and work stand-alone.
- Qualification in either carpentry/plumbing/electrical engineering will be favoured
- Versatile handy-person skills
- Be self-motivated and responsible
- Have good time management and organisational skills
- Physically capable of moving equipment
- Liaise with customers and customer complaints
- Trade qualification in either carpentry, plumbing, painting etc
- Ability to use Power tools, Forklift, scissor lift (EWP) highly desirable
