**Your New Role**:
As the Test Manager for the Investments Platforms, you will be accountable for quality assurance (QA) and robust testing infrastructure and processes across the domain. This includes establishing and monitoring required quality controls throughout the Continuous Delivery processes and, in particular, ensuring our delivery partners (both on and off-shore) are following appropriate QA practices and processes for all programs, projects and initiatives being delivered. The role will partner with internal and external teams, across delivery and operations to ensure (automated) Continuous Testing (CT) is in place to reduce release cycle time, shift build & test defect identification to earlier in the release cycle, and enable the creation of more reliable, resilient, accessible and stable platforms.

The successful applicant will have a foundation in QA leadership roles, extensive knowledge of testing tools, test data, testing practices and test automation. Experience with cloud technology, continuous integration and continuous delivery, is essential.

**Key duties include but are not limited to**:
- Take accountability for the on-going governance of quality controls across our continuous delivery processes.

- Plan across the releases to assure that continuous integration and continuous testing requirements are included early and consistently across changes/initiatives.

- Define test strategies on project and/or program level and collaborate with teams to execute the strategy.

- Ensure the creation and maintenance of metrics to track and monitor compliance to quality controls, release cycle time, defect leakage, and automation enabled through CI/CD/CT.

- Perform Quality Assurance across build and test outcomes to identify improvements and propagate best practices more broadly across the engineering and testing teams.

- Nurture and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund and with suppliers and other partners to achieve required quality assurance and as a result, drive improved business outcomes.

- Drive evidence-based decision making - including appropriate and simple metrics that provide solid data for informed decision making, such as adherence to quality controls, defect leakage, release cycle time, and opportunities to drive agility.

- Ensure risk is managed in accordance with the Fund’s Risk Management Framework including risk identification and management, risk profiling, risk reporting and incident management.

- Demonstrate commercial thought leadership, both within and outside the Fund.

**What You’ll Need**:
- 10 years’ experience in a technology roles with 5+ years demonstrated management & leadership of quality assurance functions.

- Expert knowledge of Testing methods, tools, and techniques.

- Experience across various CI/CD/CT tools as well as cloud technology (ideally Microsoft Azure).

- Experience moving to - and working in - a DevOps/Continuous Delivery environment.

- Demonstrated high proficiency with DevOps concepts and technologies.

- Appreciation of software development lifecycle best practices.

- An ability to architect and implement an overarching quality process in a complex and fast changing environment.

- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis.

- Willingness to believe in and work towards the enterprise purpose and vision.
