**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This role is a Permanent position on a even time, day shift roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine, which is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

As the Coordinator Mine Services, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to effectively coordinate and manage the execution of mine rehabilitation activities; Landform shaping, overburden replacement, topsoil management, fauna habitat construction, seeding. While aiding in the activities mine services team with mine development activities

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Review the weekly plan, ensure resource requirements are fulfilled, manage issues and propose solutions for effective execution of strategy.
- Guide and coach team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement in line with company values.
- Provide support to the supervisor to coach and mentor employees to deliver performance and promote our safety culture
- Lead and manage workplace investigations and ensure accurate reporting of findings and subsequent actions
- Financial management of budgets, monthly cost control and contractor payments.
- Manage contractors in line with South32 Contractor management standard

**ABOUT YOU**
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Prior experience in a similar operational role with the Mining Industry
Exceptional safety leadership with the ability to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace
- Skilled safety leader with ability to understand and drive productivity without compromising safety
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and the ability to form effective working relationships
- Experienced with the use of SAP and MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experienced with Vulcan mine design suite is desirable.
Completion of a Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate (desirable)
- Schedule26 Statutory supervisor appointment
