We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality support to clients with complex needs.

This role requires a strong background in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behaviours of concern, along with the ability to confidently assist with meal preparation, medication management, and daily living tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centred support to clients with ASD and behavioural challenges
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Manage medications in line with client care plans and protocols
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies and respond appropriately to behaviours of concern
- Support clients in community participation and independent living
- Maintain accurate shift notes and incident reports as required
- Work across a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and active overnight shifts
- Be comfortable working in environments monitored by CCTV or in-home cameras
- Essential Requirements:

- Experience supporting individuals with ASD and behaviours of concern
- Strong skills in meal preparation and supporting daily routines
- Comfortable working under camera surveillance for transparency and safety
- Flexible availability across a rotating 7-day roster
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing safe, respectful care

**Qualifications & Compliance**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Working With Children Check for Employees (if required)
- Valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
- Medication Management (or willingness to complete training)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check for Employees (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Fire and Safety Training (preferred)
- Infection Prevention and Control Training (preferred)
