We are a dynamic, thriving accounting practice located in Alexandria needing a **Full Time, Experienced Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer Professional **to assist with input & reconciliation of computerised accounts as well as preparation of BAS, reporting & budgeting.
- Must have 5 years+ history / hands-on experience as a working bookkeeper.
- Certification in Xero & Xero Payroll is a must, with proficiency in other accounting systems such as MYOB.
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced skills in Excel.
- Needs to be self-motivated and capable of excelling in a small team environment.
- Will have strong attention to detail, and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Must be authorised to work in Australia indefinitely.

**The Role**:

- Across a diverse range of mainly small business clients, individuals & associated entities
- Input, reconciliation & review of data in Xero, MYOB, and Spreadsheets
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, TPAR, Workers Comp declarations, STP and superannuation
- Ongoing reporting & cash flow preparation
- Manage weekly accounts receivable, accounts payable and debtors’ management.
- Processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients

**The package**:

- You will be engaged on a full-time basis with a package commensurate with experience.
- Monday to Friday office hours
- On-site at our office in Alexandria
- Small, dynamic, supportive team
- Starting salary $80,000 + super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
