**Finance Analyst - Dan Murphy's**

To provide commercial support and advice to the Dan Murphy’s Operations Team, in particular with regards to store wages, using data to drive performance reporting, planning and insightful analysis that improves and supports decision-making.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

- Responsible for the production and distribution of weekly and monthly store wages performance reporting and analysis
- Responsible for month end journals, review of results, reporting, forecasting an other month end tasks
- Support Simpler For Stores team to ensure impacts on store wages are fully understood; work together to ensure budgets and forecasts are robust and accurate
- Responsible for the store wages budget and forecast processes, understanding key drivers and associated impacts on cost per hour and hours worked
- Improve and automate existing reporting and introduce new reporting where necessary to support Operations stakeholders with timely and insightful information on store wages and underlying cost drivers
- Proactively communicate commercial impacts of past and future activities amongst stakeholders
- Contribute to the other key objectives of the team, including; review store profitability, undertake competitor analysis, identify risks & opportunities in Cost of doing Business and work cross functionally to drive improved commercial outcomes for the store network.

**Qualifications**:
**Now let’s talk about you**:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with Operations or Retail experience desired
- CA / CPA Qualification preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability in building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyses and summarise high volumes of data from a variety of sources
- Sound organisational and effective time management skills, can handle pressure and manage expectations whilst servicing people from across different departments
- Able to ensure the approach and output is simple, structured, accurate and robust
- Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, SAP, Tableau
