**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This important role will work within the Student Data & Engagement Team to support student data accuracy, quality and reporting, with a focus on processing student activity who are funded students under the either New South Wales or Queensland funding contracts.

This role is primarily phone based and will be working from the either the companies St Kilda Rd, Melbourne office, or Tweed Heads, NSW office yet flexibility is available for remote working to be reviewed for days and or periods.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who has a keen eye for detail, high level customer service skills and holds a good working knowledge of supporting students aligned with compliance and data reporting requirements in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

**Key Tasks include;**
- Reviewing student training activity, including apprentice and trainee training activity and working with the Data Quality Team Leader to ensure all evidence of participation is accurately demonstrated within student files and is accurately reported within the student management system (VETtrak);
- Communicating (as required) with students, employers, parents, and apprenticeship centres in relation to student training activity, Including providing updates in relation to the progress of students undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship with Builders Academy Australia;
- Accurately and efficiently using student data systems including VETtrak to process student data, including apprentice and trainee enrolment and training activity;
- Developing reports that will aid in making informed decisions about student training activity within the RTO.
- Providing (as required) accurate enrolment advice and support to a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
- Working with students (as required) to complete all enrolment paperwork, including pre-training reviews, towards them beginning their studies;
- Reviewing student training activity (as required), including apprentice and trainee training activity and making contact with the student to provide strategies and solutions to support them in their studies.

**ABOUT YOU**

This role will suit those who have previous compliance, data quality or RTO administration experience and who have worked within an RTO or similar business supporting students and ideally apprentices and trainees towards their success.

It will be important that the successful applicant can create and foster close working relationships with all key staff within the team. To do this they will be a good communicator, energetic approach and have a 'can-do' attitude.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Hold an operational knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 (RTO Standards) in relation to student progress and data reporting.
- Hold an operational knowledge of requirements in relation to educational funding contract obligations and particularly those in relation to apprenticeship and traineeship students;
- Proven ability to effectively work within a customer service or call centre environment, preferably within the VET sector;
- Ability to meet ASQA Fit & Proper persons requirements;
- Strong data quality and administration experience, including a proven record of meeting and exceeding targets/KPIs;
- Experience using a student management system - VETtrak (highly desired);
- Able to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Qualifications in business administration, quality auditing or similar will be highly regarded.

Please note: Our student enrolment, pre-training review and admissions team members work varied hours therefore availability between 8:30 am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday may be required.
