Session Leader

**Permanent part-time opportunity - 60 hours and up to 10 shifts per fortnight**:

- **Weekends and afternoon shifts included - Rotational shifts Monday - Sunday**:

- **Hourly base rate starts from 45.87/hr + penalty rates (where applicable), super, salary packaging and more**
- **Located at Chermside Donor Centre & Donor Mobile Unit, QLD**

**About the role**

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Chermside Donor Centre and Donor Mobile Unit. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:

- Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
- Develop and coach teams
- Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations
- Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
- Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
- Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

The position is a permanent part-time role of 30 hours per week working of up to 10 shifts across the fortnight, because the role is at both the Donor Centre and Donor Mobile unit, **7-days flexibility is required to support the operational requirements.**
