As a Support worker for Real Community Services you will be supporting people who have complex and challenging disabilities to live independently as well as achieving their goals and have a more valued role withing their community.
About Us
Real Community Services was established in January 2006 and now provides thousands of personal support hours per week to hundreds of people with disability, acquired brain injury or neurological conditions by focusing on empowering and improving their lifestyles. Providing quality services across the Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich as well as the Gold Coast areas. 
About the Opportunity
As Real Community Servies grows, so does the opportunities we have available. We currently have multiple positions opening in the Strathpine region with two separate participants.
You will be working 1:1 with participants within their own homes. If you are the right fit for the team, you can expect flexible hours depending on your availability, so you are able to strike the optimum work/life balance.
In the role you will be responsible for but not limited to
- Personal Care
- Meal prep (including shopping and planning)
- Community access
- Domestic assistance

About you
To be considered for the role you must have experience working with participants with the either one of the following
- ABI
- Mental health
- Intellectual impairment

Skills Required
- Good Verbal Communication
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience working with people with disability or qualifications in relevant fields
- Current first aid and CPR or willing to obtain
- Blue card (working with children check) or willing to obtain before employment
- National Disability worker screening clearance (yellow card) or willing to obtain before employment
- Drivers Licence
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the last 2 years) professional references from a supervisor (essential)
