Petersham Auto Spares is seeking a Trainee Spare Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team located in Marrickville, NSW.

This is a position for someone looking to start out in the Automotive Industry.

As a Trainee Automotive Spare Parts Interpreter, you will be the first point of contact with our customers in person and over the phone - Learning the processes of consulting and assisting them with product information and queries.

We are not like other parts stores We go the extra mile to make sure our trainees are the best in the business - In both Standard replacement and Performance parts Interpretation

You will also learn Brake rotor/drum and flywheel machining, Standard and Performance Brake hose manufacture, Forklift operation, Delivery scheduling and much more

You will work with our experienced team, learning all aspects of Auto Parts operations from Interpreting to Delivery and everything inbetween.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilising Parts ordering systems
- Maintain a safe, clean and practicable work environment, adhering to OH&S requirements
- General housekeeping
- Warehouse management
- Stock control
- Machine Operation
- Other tasks as directed from time to time

To be successful in this role you will have & develop
- Interest in the Automotive industry
- Strong automotive general knowledge
- Excellent phone manner
- Computer literacy including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Great customer service skills
- The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Be a motivated individual, with the ability to learn new tasks efficiently
- Positive verbal communication skills
- Can prioritize any given workload

Whilst previous experience will be highly regarded, We are looking for someone willing to learn, with full training provided.

Physical Demands:
The nature of Automotive sales & warehousing means extended periods on your feet with some heavy lifting involved.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
