Workshop Assistant

We are looking for a Workshop Assistant who will work effectively within the workshop environment and complete tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager. This role requires efficient work practices, attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing the duties for QMAX.

**Duties**:
- Conduct pump and pump system construction-related tasks
- Adhere to Workshop Safety protocols, work safely as an individual but also as part of the workshop team
- Assist Workshop Manager and other personnel as required
- Complete inspections, photograph and detail as required
- Accurately complete checklists and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Move and position pumps and associated items within the compound
- Develop best work practices with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Maintain and uphold the company values
- Be prepared to work past the standard work hours and meet the needs of the Business if required
- Upkeep of the workshop and compound cleanliness
**Requirements**:
**Skills and Experience**:
- We are ideally seeking motivated individual with a strong commitment to product quality and presentation including:
- Previous experience in a similar role and or exposure to plumbing or electrical trades
- Sound level of mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's licence
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Attention to detail
- Valid Forklift license
