Are you looking at taking that next step in your career,**" look no further"**, we are looking for someone to take the lead hand role to the next level **The Role** Working in our modern chicken hatchery, located in Allora, between Toowoomba & Warwick. The role requires the lead hand to encourage, support and work with a dedicated team of individuals to reach daily outcomes, no two days could look the same as you may have to work across all three sections of the Hatchery The poultry industry has very strict bio-security and animal welfare standards, so all employees are restricted from keeping pet birds, poultry and pigs and residing with others who work at other poultry or involved with pig farming/hunting. The hatchery is a shower-on, shower-off facility. **Skills & Experience** We are looking for the following attributes: - Meet bio-security requirements - Permanent full-time - Work 4 days & have 3 days off - Experience in Leading a team - Computer/IT skills and be capable of performing accurate calculations - Be able to communicate, with a good understanding of English, both written & oral - Be reliable and have amazing work ethic - Proven time management skills - Have a positive attitude - Extensive training provided - Be a team player who is happy to undertake different tasks - Be able to work rotating weekend **Applicants must have full work rights in Australia (sorry, not suitable for students or working holiday visa holders)** **About Darwalla** Darwalla has a diverse workforce and welcomes applicants who are as passionate as we are about producing quality chickens.
