**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking a **Male Disability Support Worker** for a participant in **Pascovale** **3044**with an **Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)** who requires **complex care support**.

This role is ideal for a worker who is:

- **Respectful, reliable, and empathetic**:

- Skilled in **personal care** and confident using **assistive equipment** like hoists and Sara Stedy
- Fluent in **English** — **Turkish-speaking preferred**:

- Experienced in managing clients with **challenging behaviours** in a safe and respectful way

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Deliver high-quality **personal care**, including toileting, showering, and dressing
- Operate mobility aids such as **hoist, Sara Stedy**, and other assistive equipment
- Provide support with meals, medication, and transfers
- Monitor and report on client wellbeing and daily activities
- Maintain accurate **case notes** and submit **incident reports** as required
- Support client access to social and community participation
- Follow all care plans and uphold NDIS practice standards

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability / Aged Care (Essential)
- Manual handling experience (Essential)
- Previous experience supporting clients with **ABI or complex needs** (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid & CPR Certification (Current)
- National Police Check
- Driver’s License (mandatory)
- Access to reliable, insured vehicle (preferred)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- ABN and Public Liability Insurance (if contracting)

**EMPLOYMENT DETAILS**

- **Pay Rate**: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
- **Shifts**: Morning, Afternoon, Weekend shifts
- **Availability**: Monday to Sunday (flexibility required)
- **Start Date**: Immediate
