We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Payroll Officer to join our payroll team. This is an exceptional opportunity to continue your career with a highly respectable employer located in the Southeast Suburbs.
You will be assisting the Payroll Team in the processing of our weekly and monthly payrolls for our Australian and New Zealand business. Starting immediately, the role is full-time or Part Time (Monday to Wednesday) offering a flexible work from home / office hybrid arrangement.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Providing end to end payroll services.
- Process weekly and monthly timesheets
- Leave calculations.
- Processing new starters, terminations, and transfers
- General Data Entry
- Supporting the payroll team in managing the day-to-day administration of the payroll function including monitoring of the Payroll inbox and checking of processed data entries.
- Assisting with payroll queries and respond within required timelines.
- Ad hoc Reporting
- General Administration duties as required.
**Skills and Experience**
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll within a medium/large sized payroll environment
- Knowledge of relevant employment and tax legislation
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Skills
- Previous SAP and/or Success Factors experience preferred, but not essential.
- New Zealand Payroll experience will be highly regarded.

**Skills & Experience**
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll within a medium/large sized payroll environment. New Zealand Payroll experience will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of relevant employment and tax legislation
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in SAP or other Success Factors is preferable
- Excellent communication skills
