Primarily weekday shifts however hours may be flexible.

About the role
The Assistant in Midwifery will work within the maternity unit to provide safe and effective woman
- centred care as directed by a registered midwife
Key Responsibilities
Assistance with activities of daily living for the woman and baby, including:
Escorting low risk patients;
Assisting with any manual handling activities;
Documentation (countersigned by a registered midwife);
Assist midwifery staff with routine technical support functions, including:
Sourcing equipment and supplies for routine procedures;
Restocking and cleaning equipment.
Visual observations during intentional patient rounding (not including vital signs).
What you bring
Currently enrolled in second year of a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
