**About the opportunity**

We are recruiting for a number of casual support workers in the Blue Mountains/Kotoomba area in NSW.

In this role you will be providing a wide range of tasks to aid customers in maintaining their independence and dignity including:

- Assistance with domestic tasks such as cleaning, self care and laundry
- Assistance with disability related needs
- Assisting customers with their transportation needs
- Assistance with community participation based tasks
- Building meaningful positive relationships with customers
- Track and document the customers progress
- Follow procedures in reporting incidents

**Ethical disability Services Pty Ltd are looking for**:
Motivated individuals who demonstrate empathy and enthusiasm who:

- Have knowledge of NDIS, disability services, WHS as well as a first aid certificate
- Have excellent communication skills including the ability to interact with both verbal and non verbal customers
- Have flexibility to work 24/7 as supports may include evening, overnight or sleepover shifts
- Have qualifications in aged or disability care (cert 3 or higher)
- Have minimum 2 years experience in supporting people with disabilities or complex needs
- Are willing to provide an NDIS workers check, working with children check and police check
- Are covid-19 vaccinated
- Have a valid Victorian drivers license and reliable transport
- Have the right to work in Australia

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $44,914.00 - $89,180.00 per year

Schedule:

- Rotating roster

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
