- **Up to $90,270 p.a. total salary package **($69,986 - $81,693 + 10.5% super)*

Are you looking for an exciting and fulfilling career that makes a real difference in the lives of young people? The City of Melville is seeking a **Youth Programming & Digital Engagement Facilitator **to join us in delivering outcomes of our Directions from Young People strategy.
In this new role, you will be working collaboratively with the Community Development Officer and our youth service providers to support the development, promotion and delivery of a range of youth programs, events, and activities throughout our City.
You'll be responsible for initially developing, and then monitoring and growing the City’s digital channels targeted to young people in order for us to get the word out about the range of great programs and events you’ll be involved in planning and evaluating Engaging young people in creative ways, you will;
- Create and schedule weekly content via relevant communication channels that assists young people to understand what local government is about and gets them excited to get involved.
- Collaborate with our Marketing & Communications teams to develop and implement a style guide for our youth communications, to ensure our work alongside young people has an obvious and distinct look and feel.
- Help us understand current trends and ways we can improve our processes, and outcomes for young people.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering youth programs and events, preferably in a local government or community setting.
- Experience in digital communications and engagement, including social media management, website content creation and management, and online advertising.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration with service providers, community groups, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with volunteers and other staff members.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with young people, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to youth programs and services, and an understanding of the governance requirements for communicating directly with young people.
**Essential and Desirable Qualifications**:
- **Essential - **Current National Police Clearance
- **Essential - **Working with Children Check
- **Essential - **Current C Class Drivers Licence
- **Desirable - **Qualifications (or working towards completion) in a relevant discipline, or experience working in a related field.
- **Desirable - **Provide First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
