The Opportunity:
In preparation for the upcoming AFL season, Delaware North Australia is seeking a **full-time Stewarding Supervisor** with exceptional cleaning standards to lead our dedicated and energetic back-of-house stewarding team.

Delaware North is a global hospitality and entertainment leader and the proud hospitality services provider for the iconic **Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)**. With a capacity exceeding 100,000, the MCG is the largest sporting stadium in the Southern Hemisphere, hosting AFL games, cricket matches, concerts, and special events.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will supervise a team of kitchen stewards who ensure the cleanliness of all food and beverage production areas and outlets, including the operation of commercial dishwashing machines across multiple kitchens at the MCG precinct.

What you will do?:

- Effectively supervise kitchen stewards during shifts with a hands-on approach.
- Undertake deep cleaning of kitchens, ensuring all checklists and tasks meet the highest standards.
- Prepare and manage rosters in line with award requirements and team availability.
- Train team members to maintain professionalism and stay updated on banquet events and kitchen requirements.
- Adhere to hygiene, WHS, and food safety processes, including safe handling of chemicals.

More about you:

- **At least 2 years’ experience** in a similar kitchen or stewarding role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, chemical handling, HACCP, food safety, and WHS protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a polished presentation.
- ** Strong computer skills**, with the ability to prepare reports, manage rosters, and communicate effectively through digital tools.
- ** Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays** as part of a 7-day roster - this is essential for the role.
