Factory Laborer

We are on the lookout for an energetic and hard-working individual with a positive and can-do attitude to start their career in retreading truck tyres. We need factory staff for our morning shift and our afternoon shift.

We are looking for people with a desire to learn, focus on safety and physically fit. No experience is required as on the job training will be provided.

Sydney Retreading Services is a leading commercial tyre retread organisation that retreads truck tyres for Michelin Australia.

We are a member of the National Tyre & Wheel Group (NTAW), Australasia’s largest tyre, wheel, and accessory wholesaler.

**Roles/responsibilities**
- Tyre handling, inspections & repairs.
- Using semi-automated production equipment & hand tools.
- Recording & communicating tyre data.
- Following quality, safety & operational procedures.
- Operation of one of the manufacturing stations:

- Inspection Station
- Buffing Station
- Skiving Station
- Tread Building Station
- Enveloping Station
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Must have licence and reliable transport (no public transport available)
- Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 20kg
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- Good time management & strong team player
- Morning Shift - 5:00am to 1:15pm
- Afternoon Shift - 1:00pm to 9:15pm
