**What this opportunity involves**:
JLL is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our Sustainable Operations team. You will play a key role in the Energy and Sustainability team in providing technical advice and lead environmental compliance projects.
This role is required in Melbourne, and you must have ability to attend the office located in the inner Melbourne CBD.
Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract with possibility of an extension or conversion.
**Snapshot of the roles**:
Develop and monitor environmental risks, focusing on trade waste registers and environmental aspects
Provide advice on statutory environmental compliance for industrial properties
Contribute to Energy and Sustainability Team actions
Oversee technical advice on environmental compliance risks
Conduct site visits to assess and mitigate environmental risks
Stay current with relevant state and national legislation
Engage with stakeholders to manage risks and deliver training
Compile data and prepare reports on environmental compliance

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
Strong knowledge of environmental compliance in industrial properties
Understanding of relevant environmental legislation and policies
High proficiency in Excel for data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
