**As Provisional Fellow at Frankston Hospital you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team of 60 consultants, 23 trainees, 4 acute pain clinical nurse consultants, 1 research nurse and 2 personal assistants providing anaesthetic care for a broad range of specialties (general, orthopaedics, thoracics, urology, vascular, ENT, fasciomax, obstertrics, gyanaecology, paediatric, radiology, cardiology and ECT. We have 15 theatres across two campuses, supporting a busy emergency department and delivery suite in addition to elective surgery.**

**We are offering 4 general fellowship positions with the option to focus on one of the following subspecialties: Simulation and Education, Regional Anaesthesia, Research, Perioperative Medicine or Anaesthetic Anaphylaxis.**

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Provision of anaesthetic care of paediatric and adult patients in the Operating Theatres (10) of Frankston Hospital and Frankston Public Surgical Centre (5). (including preoperative and postoperative care)
- Support junior trainees in the provision of Acute Pain Service
- Support junior trainees in the provision of Labour Epidural Analgesia in the Birthing Suite (~3000 deliveries/year)
- Provision of care when required in the care of critically unwell patients in the wards or emergency department.
- Participate in quality assurance and other departmental activities such as audits, research and special projects as required
- Participate in wellbeing and welfare support of junior trainees

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- AHPRA Registration
- Completed ANZCA Trainee requirements
- Completed (or expected to complete before commencement) ANZCA Final Exam
- Ability to work dynamically and collaboratively.
