About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will have responsibility for shaping the future for people looking for sustainable employment for our WFA contract. You will interact with people across all stages of the employment placement journey and work closely within the team to deliver excellence in employment outcomes, covering Warwick, Gatton and Stanthorpe. The role responsibilities include but are not limited too:
People Leadership

Motivate and inspire team members through providing end to end performance coaching through; accurate position descriptions, goal and KPI setting, weekly 1:1 meeting, probation and performance reviews, career discussions, talent and succession planning, and check ins on well-being.
Leave management, including approvals, monitoring and management of excess leave.
Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to team to develop their skills and capability and ensure team complete mandatory training. - Recognise team members strengths, efforts, and outcomes.
Build team cohesion and connectedness by promoting a positive team culture and environment and team buzz meetings.
Set and monitor individual goals and KPI’s that roll up to the strategic business goals.

Customer Service/Stakeholder Management

Provide participants with individually tailored pathways into sustainable employment.
Work with participants to understand their strengths, transferrable skills, and goals to match them with suitable employment options and job plans.
Provide information, services or interventions required to address a jobseekers/participant vocational and nonvocational barrier(s) to employment.
Accurately record detailed file notes in Job Ready to regularly update a Participant's file in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with community organisations to maximise referral flow through service level agreements.
Identify eligible wage subsidies for job seekers and effectively communicate the wage subsidy process to employer.
