Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Project Support: Assist Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in the planning, coordination, and organization of construction projects, ensuring that all design elements align with project goals and timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret architectural plans, building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant codes of practice to ensure that all designs meet the required legal and safety standards.
- Design Documentation: Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications based on the architects' concepts. This includes creating accurate and detailed plans that serve as essential guides throughout the construction process.
- Technical Drafting: Prepare, edit, and revise various technical documents, including plans, maps, charts, and drawings, ensuring that all documentation is precise, up-to-date, and reflects any modifications during the design and construction phases.
Position Details:
- Reporting: This position reports directly to the Manager.
- Work Schedule: Full-time position, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday to Saturday.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Relevant qualifications such as a QF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
NOTE: This position does not provide any visa opportunities, applicants must have full working rights.
Pay: $77,000.00 per year
