Job Description:
Skillz4me is seeking a dedicated and talented Grant Writer and Fundraising Champion to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children with disabilities. As our Grant Writer and Fundraising Champion, you will play a crucial role in securing funding and resources necessary to sustain and expand our programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations aligned with Skillz4me's mission and programs.
- Collaborate with the program team to gather relevant information, data, and success stories for use in grant proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors and sponsors.
- Plan and execute creative fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to generate financial support.
- Monitor and track progress of grants and ensure timely submission of reports to funders.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising to enhance the organization's success.
- Communicate effectively with Staff and volunteers

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive proposals.
- Strong research skills to identify relevant grant opportunities and potential donors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Passion for supporting children with disabilities and a commitment to Skillz4me's mission.
- Knowledge of the Sutherland Shire community and local funding opportunities is a plus.
