Our client is a local Aussie success story. From humble beginnings, the business has now evolved into a major player within the health supplements and complimentary medicine sector. With operations spanning multiple sites across Melbourne's outer SE Suburbs and undergoing strong growth both locally and internationally, they are now seeking to appoint several new staff members in full-time permanent positions.

These roles will involve the preparation of each batch or product, which will then be fed through to the wrapping & packing line. You will receive a batch sheet which will detail the batch size to be prepared, ranging from 300 to 500 kg's. You will be picking the raw materials, 90% of which will be in pack sizes of 10-12.5 kg's. You will unwrap product and deposit into a "Mackie-Bin" bulk handling system, which are on wheels and uses lifting conveyors to empty the bins into large ribbon blenders, where the product is mixed with all other materials for the specified time as per the batch sheet and then extruded through to the packaging area of the business, where product is cut to portion control size. On completion of each batch, "Mackie-bins" go into the washer and are cleaned as are the blenders in preparation for the next batch.

This serves as a good daily work out and will appeal to those looking for FREE gym membership.

**KEY SLECTION CRITERIA**:

- Demonstrate previous experience in the use and operation of Mackie Bin Bulk Handling systems and Ribbon blenders.
- Have formal Training in either GMP/HACCP/AIB and a strong understanding of food/pharmaceutical handling and cleaning practices/standards.
- Possess formal Certification in **GMP/HACCP** and/or Certificate III in Food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.
- Have well developed communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to provide clear direction and instruction.
- Can accurately weigh and measure product using small to large industrial scales for product weighing 100 grams through to 200 kg's.
- Ensure all CCP's are tested and checked pre & post each batch and all documentation is recorded and maintained to company standards, this includes metal detection, sieves, magnets etc.

**WHAT'S ON OFFER**

Aside from working conditions and a 4-day/week, negotiable salary packages ranging from $66,000 to $72,000 (inc. Super) are on offer, in line with your level of skills and experience. Higher packages maybe on offer for those demonstrating strong experience and leadership attributes.
