**The Manager Re-entry Services will**:
- Manage and lead staff coordinating re-entry services for QCS.
- Manage delivery of re-entry services across correctional centres and Community Corrections locations, including planning and monitoring of service delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge and skill in the re-entry services field.
- Develop procurement strategies and processes for managing contracted service delivery from organisations involved in the provision of re-entry services on behalf of QCS in liaison with the QCS Contract Management Unit.
- Develop, implement and oversight services that address high priority reintegration issues.
- Develop innovative programs and services and evidence-based solutions to offender needs, including priority groups such as women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and offenders with a disability.
- Manage the quality assurance of re-entry services program and service delivery for the Agency.
- Oversee monthly reporting processes against throughput and quality indicators and ensure measurements and KPIs present data that accurately reflects Agency level deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategies that deliver high quality re-entry services to offenders.
- Provide high level advice to the Agency regarding the delivery of re-entry services.
- Provide expert advice to the Director regarding human, financial and physical resources to ensure that activities, systems and processes meet organisational needs.
- Manage and prepare strategic advice and ministerial and executive correspondence ensuring accuracy and timelines are met.
- Manage the provision of advice, support and training to relevant custodial and Community Corrections staff involved in the re-entry and offender service model and processes.
- Lead and participate in high level liaison with external and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with other Federal and State Government agencies who provide services to prisoners and offenders as part of their reintegration to the community to provide input and resolve interface issues, such as Centrelink, Housing and others.
- There are no mandatory qualifications for this position however a degree in psychology, social work or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
- Possession of post graduate qualifications (or significant progress towards post graduate qualifications) in a relevant area will be highly regarded.
