**Your new opportunity**:
Due to growth in the **Perth Branch**, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Parts Advisor/Interpretor **to join our dynamic and growing team, where you will support and advise both our internal and external stakeholders on parts across our diverse range of premium brands to minimise downtime and maximise productivity. You will build and maintain effective customer relationships at all times and provide first class customer service to external and internal customers.

**This position has the ability to be offered as either an Advisor, or Senior Advisor level dependant on your skills and experience.**
- Provide Parts Advisory services and support to the Parts, Service and Sales Departments and external customers
- Grow parts sales with our customers, including promoting new products and services
- Administrative tasks, including invoicing, purchase order creation, parts procurement from external vendors when required and inventory receipting for direct orders
- Support the Service Workshop activities including interpretation of parts, core and credit handling, parts picking and quotations
- Work on a rotating 38 hour week roster covering operational hours of 7am to 6pm weekdays.
- Work rostered Saturdays and attend after-hours callouts where required - paid in addition to salary.

**About you**:

- Strong customer focus and the ability to build and develop effective working relationships
- Certificate in Parts Interpreting (desirable) or equivalent industry training and/or experience
- Previous experience in a Parts Advising or related industry role
- Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines and automatic transmissions (preferred) or related automotive industry
- Ability to read and interpret catalogues, bulletins and support literature
- Understanding of parts warehousing principles
- Ability to communicate information effectively in a clear, logical, helpful and prompt manner to both customers and fellow employees
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage a variety of tasks
