**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health (Working towards or willing to obtain)
- Industry experience in Australia or personal lived experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable Vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check for paid roles (or willing to obtain)
- Current Police check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain)
- A smartphone that has access to the internet and the ability to download rostering app
- Proof of vaccination

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Where required, assist individuals to undertake a range of activities of daily living, including personal and self-care, eating, and maintenance of personal hygiene, using the principles of active support.
- Support individuals to use their preferred method of communication and assist them to be understood, listened to, and responded to at all times.
- Work effectively with people who have high physical needs and/or behaviors of concern, implementing manual handling assessments and/or behavior support plans as required and in keeping with Top Disability Care Accommodation and Respite procedures and policies.
- Maintain documentation, records, and data collection as required and in accordance with the relevant legislation and Top Disability Care Accommodation and Respite policies.
- Interact and communicate with other team members in the interests of service users and of achieving a consistent approach to service provision.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $46.43 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
