**The Role**:
Our Government Department is looking for a GIS Analyst manage the program data management systems of the SQL database, Geocortex and ArcGIS. The position will be required to prepare data management protocols and operating procedures and a variety of reports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide advice and support in the use of spatial technology and analysis, including preparation of map products
- Undertake spatial data automation and analysis, automated spatial data processing and general programming
- Capture user requirements and expectations and provide technical advice and work with others to deliver and design digital/spatial requirements
- Develop and contribute to high quality briefings, meeting papers, presentations and correspondence, consistent with key policy objectives for a range of audiences

**Key Skills required**:

- Strong experience working as a GIS Analyst
- Strong skills and experience with ArcPy, Geocortex and SQL Scripting
- Knowledge of geospatial data
- ArcGIS knowledge/experience would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
