Air Bnb Laundry Worker

**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Independent Sub-Contract Laundry Workers to join our high energy and fast moving linen team. As a Sub-Contractor, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly and independently, while contributing to our mission of ensuring high-quality linens for AirBNB guests.

This role is fast paced You’ll need to have upper body strength, good hand eye coordination and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- **Experience in the cleaning and or housekeeping industry is essential**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate commercial public laundry mat equipment efficiently and safely, including washers, dryers, and iron machines.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron and package linens in accordance with our managements high cleaning standards.
- Inspect Air BNB linens for damages and stains, and work diligently to remove any marks or blemishes through appropriate cleaning procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory count control, ensuring that the necessary linens are readily available for all guest bookings.
- Collaborate with our quality control team to meet the necessary standards for guest satisfaction.
- Be available to work 4+ hour shifts outside of business hours. Eg. Pick up linen at 5pm and have it washed, dried, folded, iron pressed and returned by 9am the next morning.
- Must be available during all school holidays year round, with consideration that our busiest months are from December to April. (Both Peak Seasonal positions available, as well as secure ongoing opportunities.)

**Qualifications**:

- NOTE: This is a position for a Sub-Contractor. You MUST have your own ABN and public liability insurance.**
- Must be competent in submitting weekly invoices to receive pay.
- Must provide your own car for transporting large volumes of laundry to and from set locations in the Bellarine Peninsula / Geelong area - Victoria.
- Proven experience as a Laundry Worker or similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and carefully eliminate stains, damages, or other issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, as you may interact with other team members and operational staff as needed.
- Ability to access and utilise local commercial / public laundry mats.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
