Located in South Bowenfels, the Lithgow Campus is considered as a comprehensive community health centre supporting approximately 20,000 people living in the town and surrounding areas. The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit.

In this position, you will ensure the provision of care activities to residents in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of an Assistant in Nursing. This position will see you work collaboratively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with protocol and working towards a common goal.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Currently enrolled at university as a 2nd year undergraduate student nurse 1st semester
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide a person centred approach to patient care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Previous experience working in an acute care setting
- Ability to work a flexible roster
- Demonstrated evidence of complying with Immunisation Category A
