**The Role**

We are looking for a switched on, bubbly and enthusiastic **Door Host /Maître d'** to work at our **Hurricane’s Grill & Bar at Surfers Paradise.**
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Ensuring the guests first point of contact is welcoming, relaxed and happy
- Appropriately handle any enquiries and conflicts of reservations
- Have the ability to think on your feet to adapt to the customers preference when desired
- Manage a large volume of walks on top of a high number of reservations at peak times
- Manage a sufficient and easy turn around of tables to ensure minimum wait time on new guests arriving
- Communicate with management promptly
- **Skills & Experience**:_
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in cash handling
- Understanding the RSA policy.
- Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures.

**Please note that you will be required to work a mixture of weekdays ,weekends & Public Holidays.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $67.00 per hour
