**Liquid is looking for a Content Writer to join our Marketing Team.**

Liquid is a strategic design consultancy and digital agency that tackles large transformation projects in collaboration with clients in government, education, and health. We specialise in human-centred solutions that create positive social change.

This role supports the business in telling the important stories of our work, helping to craft communication that speaks to key audiences.

In addition to the opportunity to work full-time, there is the possibility to work part-time (3 to 4 days per week) along with the flexibility of office-based and remote work options.

- Do you have experience in identifying a story that will speak to a target audience and crafting that idea into compelling content?
- Do you know how to research topics and audiences to improve your writing and more effectively convey a message?
- Do you know how to commission stories and guide colleagues toward an output you require?
- Can you turn your hand to various writing formats, such as social media, case studies, B2B communications, and more?
- Are you comfortable working with stakeholders to understand their vision and execute ideas in written formats?
- Are you self-directed but enjoy working in a team?

**Core responsibilities of the role**:

- Write and edit content opportunities that speak to key strategic audiences
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure content and other professional communications align with business vision
- Manage business publication standards by maintaining brand voice and style
- Use data to inform insights on the effectiveness of content campaigns
- Ability to turn your attention to multiple writing formats including case studies, social media, and thought leadership

**To be successful, you'll need**:

- Formal qualifications and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in some form of written communication - eg, journalism, copywriting, UX writing, PR
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Be a problem solver. You enjoy working with team mates to understand obstacles and find pathways to getting stuff done
- Be open to sharing work and receiving feedback, including from senior stakeholders and colleagues
- Comfortable making decisions or guiding others toward decisions
- Be flexible with ways of working and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can and do change
- Work autonomously to a high standard, but open to collaboration with colleagues across the business
- Curiosity

**Advantageous, but not essential**:

- Experience working in a digital-based business
- Working knowledge of media relations
